ABOUT YOUR COACH

  My name is Teresa Frank. I am a 53 years young, married for 31 years, have raised four children (now adults) and in the best health of my life!  It’s pretty apparent, I have a love of fitness, and it shows. My focus has always been a healthy lifestyle, a commitment to a fit physique, and a desire to share my passion with others. I want to help YOU pursue your goals! Whether you have a weight loss goal, want to gain muscle, are already an athlete looking to enhance your performance, or you are looking to improve your daily function, I want to help you get there.  The results and growth you see, physical and mental, will make the journey we take together worth all the sweat.

Now, a little about my history. I have always led a physical life, and have never truly been overweight, however, I was what you call “skinny fat” in my younger years.  Lean, but having a high fat and low muscle percentage. When I was only 38 years old I suffered a major (what should have been fatal) heart attack. Miraculously, I survived with no major medical intervention. The following 6 months involved physical therapy and changing my diet drastically. My love affair with healthy living began. Today my heart is very healthy. Through time and research, I discovered natural supplements which allow me to be off the medications, which I should have been dependent on for the rest of my life.

  In the years after my heart attack, the two most influential life experiences leading to my desire to be a health coach were the work I did as a manager at Vitamin Shoppe, and my personal journey in the fitness competition world.

I worked at Vitamin Shoppe for three years. Through my work with the customers and community there, I was made aware of the need people had for information regarding their health. People today are tired of being prescribed medications with negative side effects and are looking for natural methods to help with their health. My experience helped me to acquire knowledge of beneficial everyday supplements, disease specific supplements, and supplements helpful for training hard.

2012 marked the beginning of my competitive fitness journey. It was then where I entered into my first women’s figure competition. Throughout my competition years, I’ve worked with several trainers, and from each I have taken valued information and new techniques. I have compiled all the knowledge and now it’s time for me to help you pursue your goals.

  I want you to know my background as a way to help motivate you in your health story. To know that despite any “limitations”, you can be the best possible you. Even though (medically speaking) the bottom of my heart is dead, I won’t allow that to be an excuse to give up on living to the best of my ability. Don’t let your excuses hold you back any longer. Let me be a part of your healthy lifestyle journey. Allow me to be your coach, your mentor and your friend.
